Rheged Springer Spaniels

The cheeky & beautiful new Welshie on the block! Nikki had NO idea little Molly was coming to join our family as Peter organized the whole thing in a very sneaky fashion haha! What a HUGE surprise AND one of the best-kept secrets ever! Seems that although quite a few people in the Welshie world knew she was coming here ~ not one word was uttered .............................. not a soul let the 'puppy' secret slip & Nikki received the most wonderful & unexpected gift ever! We can not thank Jane Gregor (Arithon Kennels) & Katarina Burns enough for trusting us enough & allowing this super correct, precious correct, precious & pretty little girl to be a part of our lives.

What a little live wire! She hit the ground running & talking her spotty chops off  (being a fluent Welsh language speaker she barked at us in Welsh of course). You would never have guessed she had just undertaken the longest flight north & at such a young age! Of course,  Molly had the very best of starts so her outgoing nature & brave self-assured manner really was to be expected; being born & raised as she was in the Australian bush on a large sheep 'station', surrounded with love, exploring with her mother Arwen ('Champion Arithon All Theway'), & her siblings, sorting out sheep, swimming in dams & snuggling up at night with orphaned kangaroos! The perfect start to life any little Welshie could ever wish for. She also has the most perfect registered name for she is as 'bright' as a button & 'shines'! WOW! She certainly does that & we have a feeling that she will continue to 'shine'. She does have, after all, some very talented family member pawprints to follow.

Molly is bred from some of the best Welsh Springers there are, so that would account for her amazing bold & unflappable attitude. She is a grand-niece of our own little star Tally ('Supreme Champion Ricochez Auryn Talyessin CCD CD RN RA RE'), as her sire Caddy ('Supreme Champion Ricochez Faleiry Cadawalder') is a son of Rhenny ('Supreme Champion Ricochez Auryn Rhenffew'). Of course, Tally & his litter brother Rhenny are both sons of the Welshie that we initially fell in love with ~ the immortal Oscar ('Supreme Champion Shandwick Raffles [imp UK]'). She is also a niece to our resident Miss Bossy Boots Muriel ('Grand Champion Ricochez Dyfri Addiena'), as Caddy is from Evie ('Champion Brymor Evenstar [imp NZL]').

Her dam 'line' is just as amazing. Her mum Arwen was a daughter of yet another of the most beautiful & correct Welsh ever to be whelped in Australia; Connor ('Grand Champion Slyvkin Tristan') & he was, in turn, was by Eric ('Grand Champion Aquitaine Dvorak'), another name that is regarded as 'legend' within the breed, & as you delve back into the Welsh mists of time, more & more amazing names just keep on appearing in her pedigree. There is no doubt about it ~ our little Miss Molly Jones is certainly bred 'in the purple' & we are thrilled & consider ourselves so lucky to have her share our world.
